Sweet Chicken (Ayam goreng mentega)


This dish is soo comforting. My mom often made me this dish when I was living with her. Also this dish you can have it whenever. Sweet and buttery.. yum..

Ingredients:

- 1/2 lb Chicken legs/wings/thigh cut small.
- Lime juice.
- 1 tsp garlic powder.
- Salt.
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced.
- 1 inch fresh ginger root, peeled and crushed.
- 1 onion, sliced into strips.
- 3 springs green onion, slice diagonally.
- White pepper.
- 1/2 stick of butter.
- Oil for frying.

Sauce (mix together):
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce.
- 2 to 3 tbsp Indonesian sweet soy sauce.
- 2 to 3 tbsp oyster soy sauce.
- 2 tbsp shaoshing cooking wine.

Directions:
- Mix the 1st 4 ingredients, let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil the fry the chicken until slightly browned. Drain.
- Heat a wok or a pan then add the butter.
- Add garlic and ginger cook until fragrant then mix in onion and green onion.
- Stir in the sauce cook until bubbly then mix in the chicken stir untul chicken well coated. Remove form heat.
- Serve over rice.
